Well Round #2 of the Iron Chef of Doom competition went pretty quick. My competitor didn't show up for the schedualed time, so basically I win by default unless otherwise said by the Moderator. I went and saw Constantine last night and I must say that was an excellent movie. Good effects, good story line, good acting, and just an overall good dvd worthy movie. I recommend it to anyone that was thinking about going to see it. Next week when I am home for spring break I'm planning on seeing Hitch because that looks really funny. Another note, some of the previews that were shown look pretty good, so I'll be looking forward to seeing those when they come out. Look forward to new AMVs from me soon, and heres hoping that the Finals of the competition go well. Later, lilyakka

Good News

Well I got the results back from the first round of the competition. The good news is I advance to the next round, bad news, my friend doesn't. Oh well thats how it goes I guess. I felt I did pretty good with the video that I made in my time slot and the lack of knowledge about the song that was chosen. Round two will be sometime this week, not sure on an exact time yet as I have yet to talk to my competitor. So stay tuned for more details. Later all, lilyakka

And so it begins...

Tomorrow will be the first day of the Iron Chef AMV competition 4:30-7:30pm, so yes I will be busy and have an away msg up. Heres to hoping all will go well. On another note, I managed to get my forums up and modded to the extent that I want. So feel free to stop in and register and introduce yourself to the community. We need all the people we can get. *Tear*

Well me and the roommate finally finished watching all of Rurouni Kenshin and the OVAs. Basically its one of those series' that you don't want to end, but you just have to accept it. I didn't like how the last OVA bascially jumped around so much and then its ending completely sucked. Oh well, life moves on. Next series we plan to start will probably be Samurai Deeper Kyo since it looks promising. Also now that Kenshin is finished I can start work on my new AMV, but of course I'll have to wait until after the Iron Chef competition to get to the real hardcore editing. -lilyakka
